Bert Prikenfeldt started his career more than 25 years ago as DJ Critikal and soon became Estonia´s Nr.1 hip hop DJ and a member of Estonia’s first All-Star Hip-Hop group A-Rühm with whom he’ll also perform at Station Narva. He soon moved to Drum n´Bass, early dubstep and “ghetto“ genres. Since 2018 Bert has invaded the territories of darker techno and cinematic soundscapes under the moniker of Bert on Beats, releasing consecutive albums Ten (2019), Nine (2020) and Eight (2021) The idea is to release one album every year as a countdown till Zero. Expect some drops of Seven at Station Narva!

Bert is Beats’ new material and the live setup is inspired by techno, electro, post-apocalyptic and analogue gear. For the first time, he leaves computers and DJ decks aside and brings modular synthesizers, drum machines and other analogue tech to the stage to convey the most genuine interaction between man and machine – chaos and control – and define the primal nature of techno.

Bert has remixed artists such as Vybz Kartel, Buraka Som Sistema, Rudimental and Gotan Project. His tracks have been played by acclaimed DJs and producers like FatBoySlim, Sinden, Brodinski, Diplo, DropTheLime, Feadz, Foamo and Douster.
