Võk are an Icelandic trio of Margrét Rán (vocals), Einar Stef (bass/guitar) and Bergur (drums). Their unique and lushly layered sound blends electro and indie with forward-thinking pop and a self-assured aesthetic.

Following their acclaimed album “In the Dark” (2019), Vök have just released some of their most atmospheric work yet, the new single “Lost in the Weekend”. Based around a semi-autobiographical character, the single focuses on the ease of over-indulgence when you’re living in the moment and the purposeful loss of a sense of self. Mixed by David Wrench (Frank Ocean, Goldfrapp, The xx), it builds playfully, launching into a bold chorus, which echoes the “getting lost in the weekends” ethos behind the song.
