Avant-jazz-punk-rock brigade The RIG (Russian Improv Group) unites the prominent figures of Moscow’s Dark Jazz improv scene, led by the saxophonist Sergei Khramtsevich. They prove that instrumental and nonverbal music can actually be embraceable, listenable and danceable. It can sound like rock music without using any tired rock cliches or instruments.
