During the music and city festival Station Narva, taking place next week from 5 to 7 August, the Narva Hospital will offer festival visitors and city residents the opportunity to vaccinate against COVID-19. For a safe festival experience, the festival goers’ digital vaccination or recovery certificates will be verified, and rapid testing will be offered on site.

During the entire festival, visitors will have the opportunity to get vaccinated at the Narva Hospital vaccination bus, which will be located at the entrance of the Narva Castle, the main festival venue. Vaccination is free of charge and does not require registration. The vaccine provided will be Pfizer, for which a second dose will have to be administered six weeks later. Maximum protection against the virus will be achieved a week after the second dose. Those coming to vaccinate should bring ID.

 For a safe festival experience, the festival will verify the visitors’ certificates proving either vaccination against COVID-19, recovery from the virus or a negative test result. The certificates are valid only with the accompanying ID. In addition, the festival will offer free rapid testing for all Station Narva festival pass or one day ticket holders. Only tested persons or certificate holders will have access to the festival area in the Narva Castle.

“The Narva Hospital vaccination bus will participate at the festival at a location agreed to with the organisers and vaccinate all those who are interested. We anticipate smooth and pleasant cooperation during the festival,” comments Ago Kõrgvee, head of the Narva Hospital. 

Head organiser of Station Narva Helen Sildna adds that “In order to return to a normal life, gather without concerns and enjoy culture, it is imperative that as many people as possible get vaccinated against COVID-19. That is why we are especially happy that the Narva Hospital vaccination bus will be at our festival.”

The vaccination bus and the rapid testing point will be open on all festival days next to the entrance to the Narva Castle at the following times: 

• Thu, 5 August 11:00–20:00
• Fri, 6 August 11:00–00:00
• Sat, 7 August 11:00–00:00

Visitors can attend the festival: 

• with a digital vaccination certificate that proves they have been vaccinated against COVID-19, a recovery certificate showing they have had the virus, or a certificate showing a negative test result. Travellers to Estonia should check with their local healthcare provider for details on how to download the EU digital certificates. 
• with proof of a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before the festival 
• by taking a complimentary rapid test on site (takes ca 10-15 minutes)

The organisers recommend arriving at the festival early to avoid queues. The best option is to take a rapid test already on the opening day of the festival, on 5 August. 

Station Narva 2021 will be organised in line with the rules in place for public events in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, and disinfectants are available at all festival venues.

Taking place from 5 to 7 August, the Station Narva music programme will be on 6 and 7 August at Narva Museum and Art Club Ro-Ro, headliners including the British d’n’b pioneer Roni Size and the Icelandic electronic music stars GusGus. The festival also includes a Business Day, public talks, tours of the city, an adventure at the dacha district of Kudruküla, a Narva-style breakfast and free city stage concerts. Station Narva 2021 festival passes are available for 35 euros (45 euros on the festival week) and one day tickets for 25 through Piletilevi.
