Modulshtein feat MariQ EE
Modulshtein is an electronic music project of musician and composer Aleksandr Zhedeljov, known for his genre-crossing escapades between IDM, future jazz, ambient, downtempo and chamber music. He’ll take to the stage at Station Narva armed with singer and actress MariQ.
Ther joint act will perform a set of songs” about OBERIU (Association for Real Art), a short lived avant-garde collective of Russian Futurist writers, musicians, and artists, founded in 1927 by absurdist poet Daniil Kharms and revolutionary poet & playwright Alexander Vvedensky whos shimmering verses were unpublishable during his lifetime. This programme is part of the theatre production “Väga palju päikest” (“A lot of sun”) that premiers at the Russian Theatre of Estonia in September and forms the basis for Modulshtein’s fifth full-length album, scheduled to be released this autumn.
