Tim Reaper UK
Tim Reaper (East Londoner Ed Alloh) produces lush yet hard-hitting jungle and breakbeat hardcore tracks which measure up to the best of the genre’s early- to mid-’90s heyday. His DJ sets seamlessly weave vintage obscurities with unreleased dubplates and contemporary productions, championing fellow revivalists like Dwarde and Kid Lib.
Since his 2010 debut “Propa Tings,” Reaper has unleashed dozens of releases across Green Bay Wax, Blu Mar Ten Music, and 7th Storey Projects—home to his beloved Simpsons-themed Globex Corp series launched in 2016. His explosive 2010 remix of DJ Trace’s “Final Chapta” earned instant jungle credibility, whilst 2013-era collaborations with Detroit’s Sinistarr and Sheffield’s Kid Lib cemented his reputation.
Career highlights include the cheeky 2015 album Need Money for Laptop (released as his computer literally died), regular Blog to the Oldskool mix collaborations with Boston’s Dev/Null from 2014, and launching Future Retro London in 2020. His extensive Meeting of the Minds series has fostered collaborations with Kloke, Pete Cannon, and Ricky Force, whilst partnerships with Dwarde yielded 2022 releases on !K7 and Shall Not Fade.
Recent standouts include 2023’s Cosmik Connection, Vol. 3 (Unknown to the Unknown), Globex Corp Black Label, and the groundbreaking 2024 album In Full Effect with Kloke—jungle’s first full-length on revered bass imprint Hyperdub. Through relentless touring, podcast appearances, and releases,, Reaper continues proving jungle’s future lies in honouring its past.
