Station Narva in collaboration with Narva Art Residency and Narva Gate announces an open call for all artists and arts students to find the best idea on how to highlight parts of the magnificent Kreenholm Factory during Station Narva festival. Kreenholm Factory will be open to public during the festival on 19 – 21 September for special excursions until late into the the festival nights.

About
Station Narva is a festival taking place at various locations in Narva on 19 – 21 September. One of the sites is Kreenholm Manufacture, the former textile manufacturing factory.
We are inviting artists of different mediums to come up with an idea and create an installation of one-of-a-kind artistic experience, tailored to this majestic industrial site from the 19th century on an island between the EU and Russia. Ideally we see it being an interactive project involving a light installation that guides the audience through the mysterious factory building.

Applying
To apply, please send a brief description (max 1500 characters) together with illustrations of your vision to natalie@tmw.ee with subject line “Station Narva Open Call: Your Name”. The deadline for the application is July 26. The results will be announced during the first week of August.

Conditions
A grant of €3000 will be allocated for the project’s concept and execution, including the production costs. Transportation, accommodation and catering will be covered by the festival for the production period and festival time.
Site visits are available upon request.
