Taking over Estonia’s easternmost town for three days, from 19 to 21 September, the second edition of the Station Narva festival brings you musical acts from around the world – of both the new breed as well as that worth rediscovering –, dissects post-industrial business models, invites to discover the most intriguing local spots, and conjoins nations and generations. The music programme presents around 20 acts, most prominently London jungle punk pioneers Asian Dub Foundation, Icelandic techno soul duo GusGus, the Nepalese ethereal rave innovator Aïsha Devi, and a selection of some of the most exciting artists from Estonia, Russia and Finland.
About
In addition to the music programme, taking place at Vaba Lava and Art Club Ro-Ro, the festival includes the premiere of the documentary play “Chasm” (Lõhe”/ “Разлом”), Business Day for both investigating and strengthening the connection between the creative industry and the economy, heated public discussions, street sports day, and guided tours in the Kreenholm industrial complex, fitted with luminous light installations to complement the premises in the nighttime.
Station Narva is organised by Shiftworks OÜ— the team behind international music showcase festival and industry convention Tallinn Music Week — in cooperation with representatives from Narva.
