UNA BOMBA 50 + EE

Date: 21 September
No relation to the American domestic terrorist Unabomber or the UK act The Unabombers, Una Bomba was born in the mid-nineties when rock sucked and the godfathers of Estonian indie, Röövel Ööbik realised that they have gotten too dancey for their name. Ditching guitars and embracing drum-machines, synths and samplers for their next two albums – Honey Combat” (1997) and “Aerosol” (2001) –, Röövel Ööbik were known as Una Bomba. Their hooligan house debut album still sounded fresh enough 3 years later to be picked up and re-released globally by the Canadian indie High Park Records.
