Electroforez is a dark-pop duo from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Active since 2012, they have   developed an unique style based on the rule of not copying anyone else’s manners. The band constantly experiments with sound, mixing elements of synth-pop, dance punk, dark wave and techno – the genres from which they have taken a large portion of their influences and inspiration. While they combine very nostalgic post-soviet sounds with contemporary rhythms, the icing on the cake are their lyrics, which tell us about the real Russian culture of today in an eccentric and intriguing way by focusing on common concepts of the daily life experience.
